LAN PARTY 2026: OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Access Control and Scheduling

  • Operational Hours: The venue will remain operational 24/7 for the duration of the event.
  • Zoning: The premises are divided into a Public Access Area (visitors) and a Restricted Access Area (registered participants). Entry to the restricted zone is strictly permitted only with official accreditation.
  • Re-entry: Participants may enter or exit the restricted area at any time, provided they present their credentials to security personnel at the checkpoints.
  • Age Requirements:
    • Minimum age for registration: 14 years old.
    • Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
    • Participants under 18 are prohibited from staying overnight (curfew from 23:00 to 08:00).

2. Identification Policy

All attendees will be issued a personal, non-transferable ID badge. This badge must be visible at all times. It is your personal responsibility to keep it safe; using a third-party ID is strictly forbidden, even if they belong to your team. Staff may request your ID at any time for identity verification or in the event of disciplinary action.

3. Code of Conduct

We expect all attendees to maintain a high standard of civility:

  • Respect: Treat staff and fellow gamers with courtesy. Physical or verbal aggression will not be tolerated.
  • Cleanliness: You are responsible for your designated station. Use the bins provided to keep the area tidy.
  • Safety: Do not obstruct aisles or walkways with equipment or personal belongings.

4. Restricted Substances

  • Smoking/Vaping: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building (including bathrooms and hallways). Please use the designated outdoor smoking area.
  • Alcohol & Drugs: Consumption of alcohol or illegal substances is forbidden. Anyone found under the influence or involved in drug trafficking will be immediately removed from the event.

5. Intellectual Property and Content

Participants are solely responsible for the data on their devices.

  • Copyright Law: We do not condone or protect the illegal distribution of copyrighted material (music, software, movies).
  • Authorized Sharing: Only personal work or software with open-source/freeware licenses may be shared over the network.
  • Prohibited Content: Displaying or sharing pornographic material is strictly banned.

6. Network Integrity and Security

  • Fair Use: The local network and internet are shared resources. Sabotage, network attacks, use of unauthorized DHCP servers, or spreading malware will result in immediate expulsion.
  • Cybersecurity: You are responsible for your own device’s security. We highly recommend having an updated firewall and antivirus software.
  • Service Continuity: The organization cannot guarantee 100% uptime if outages are caused by external factors or unknown technical issues.

7. Electrical and Network Infrastructure

  • Power Supply: Each participant is provided with one certified power outlet. The organization is not liable for any damage to devices connected to the grid.
  • Connectivity: Each user is assigned a single Ethernet cable. Tampering with adjacent cables or using multiple lines is prohibited.
  • Staff Only: Manipulation of switches, circuit breakers, or optical fibers is restricted to official technical staff. Unauthorized handling of this equipment will lead to sanctions.

8. Noise Control

  • Audio: Individual speakers are not allowed. Please use headphones for gaming, music, or video. Any speakers found will be confiscated until the end of the event.
  • Atmosphere: Avoid excessive shouting or the use of air horns. Please be mindful of the people around you.

9. Security: Theft and Lost Property

  • Theft: Report any missing items to the security lead immediately. While we will assist and cooperate with police investigations, the organization is not financially responsible for stolen property.
  • Lost & Found: Any items found after the event will be held for one month. Unclaimed items will be disposed of after this period.

10. Prohibited Appliances

  • Standard Equipment Only: Power outlets are for PCs, consoles, and monitors only.
  • Appliances: Fans, heaters, coffee machines, or electric kettles are banned due to the risk of power surges.
  • Cooling: You may bring food and drinks. However, electric coolers (USB or 220v) are forbidden. Only standard, non-electric portable coolers are allowed.

11. Right of Admission

The Organization reserves the right to deny entry or expel any individual whose conduct is deemed offensive, illegal, or harmful to the event’s reputation.
